Cosy Oaks - WhichHoliday.tv

Cosy Oaks is a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life, set in the tranquil countryside of Essex and nestled between two ancient woodlands. Cosy Oaks campsite is an ideal base for the 2012 Olympics or any London tourist attraction, such as Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge and the Globe Theatre. Located in the village of Stock, only 21minutes by train to Stratford with Canary Wharf being visible from the hill top on a clear day. Stock has several pubs serving locally brewed ales and freshly prepared English fare.

Cosy Oaks offers both traditional camping as well as four purpose built shacks that are furnished to give all the home comforts, outdoors.  WhichHoliday.tv had the opportunity to film the 'potting shed' earlier in the year, and you can definitely see the advantages of waking up overlooking the countryside in a double bed.

What we also liked is that the campsite is part of a working farm, so if you are not planning to have days out, then there is plenty to see and do on the farm. Our favourite part was the Pig Hotel, as they must be the most content pigs in the world.
